Feelings from Past ... or is it from future?

Its interesting to note that some times, things come across you again when you need it the most and least expected... The following two verses I had sent to a friend long time back I think around 2002... yesterday they came back to me again..

People drift apart
As life takes its turns
Spiraling away friends from our lives
As the present walks into unknown future
Given enough space

Belongingness too fades away into a memory

That was and that is and that will be
