The drop of water...

I lie on the stones
Dying
The eagles circle around in the cloudless sky
With stones in their claws
Ready to drop
On my soul
Crunching my death with the final blow
Within the cage of five senses
I wait for death

A traveler passes by
And I ask him
To stop me
From drying up
I have lost my love
My will to fight
The overhead circling death and harsh sun
And...
He asks me “how can he stop me from drying up"
In this harsh heat of hate and lost love
Even the cold earth is no longer cold
Baked up sand, and wilted love
Form the fabric of my deathbed

The stone leaves the eagles claw
Moves to meet me in the heart
I raise myself a little more
Trying to meet half way
The Hell of pain
To liberating soul
And it misses me altogether
And in the mist tears
And of churned up dust
A voice reverberates
“Take the drop of water to the sea of love
To keep it from drying up"

The love can only survive
In sea of love
In the arms of lover
In the heat of love
Love survives in the purity of love
In the hearts of soul
Who belongs to one

Im not much of a buddhist, but I do believe there is truth in the saying of taking the drop of water to the sea. Thank you for visiting my blog, and adding to the teacup's experience of learning. I hope to learn more from you in the future.

Thanks Shyamal Ji for liking my poetry which are more like my experiences and thoughts than an imaginary expressions...

I call my self virtual in Virtual world that the net is ... I am fully known as Virtual Citizen in the Net... which I think is quite apt. I first had the basic idea of the chosen name as I was at one point of time, trying to create a virtual planet which did not take off... That is real life.... hehehe.
